Brooks England, a prominent manufacturer of bicycle saddles, has a rich history dating back to 1866. Originally established in Hockley, Birmingham, the company later relocated to Smethwick, West Midlands, England, where it continued its production of high-quality leather goods
Brooks England established a significant presence in India through a strategic partnership with in association with Tube Investments Limited, UK & Murugappa Group which later founded Ti Cycles of India in 1949. This collaboration began in with the manufacturing and distribution of Brooks bicycle saddles. In 1942, Brooks England further solidified this relation-ship by providing the exclusive rights for the Brooks brand in India to Murugappa Group.
Since acquiring these rights, TI Cycles of India (Murugappa Group) has been responsible for the production of Brooks saddles, alongside a broader range of products including bicycles and tricycles. Over time, their product portfolio expanded to encompass ride-on toys and other products for toddlers.
